TED HAMMOCK

Ted Hammock is a singer/songwriter and guitarist from South Jersey.  He was raised in West Chester, PA and began his music career in the Philadelphia area.  In 2005 Ted moved to Long Beach Island, NJ in hopes of spreading the good vibes by playing songs from Jack Johnson, Sublime, Dispatch, and G. Love, as well as his own upbeat pop music influenced by those musicians.  As a mostly solo artist, Ted travels the country wherever the seasons take him.  He plays over 250 shows a year in places ranging from the high-volume ski towns in the Rocky Mountains, to resort beach towns in Southern New Jersey.  While he loves playing stripped down acoustic music, for full-band shows Ted uses his four piece band "The Blowout Boys".  He also sometimes plays as a duo with his good friend, guitarist Matt Fisher. Impromptu performances with fellow local musicians are also a  treat for friends, fans and bar-goers alike.  Teds' interaction with fans in the crowd is as important to him as the music itself. Another somewhat recent addition to his repetoir includes wedding ceremonies and receptions, adding his signature vocals and acoustic guitar to the backdrop of important days.  Much of his original music captures the gauntlet of human emotion and the feelings and experiences he has gone through.  In 2006 Ted released an EP entitled "When I See You Smile".  One year later, his full length album "Making My Way" was released, and he toured over 20 states in support of it.  His newest EP "In Between" was released in October of 2010.  "Making My Way" and "In Between" are both available on iTunes.
